Lahori Dahi Bhallay
Ingredients:
- Phulki 2 cups soaked(bheegi hui) for 2 hours
- Yogurt 1 kg
- Chickpeas(white chane) 1 cup Boiled
- Potatoes peeled(cheele) & boiled 1 cup
- Cabbage julienne 1 cup
- Onion thinly sliced 1
- Tomato julienne 2
- Chat masala 1 tsp
- Crushed red chilies 1 ½ tsp
- Green chilies 3-4 chopped
- Coriander(dhania) leaves chopped 1 tbsp
Ingredients For Green Chutney:
- Coriander leaves 1 bunch
- Green chilies 4
- Garlic 1 tsp
- Cumin(jeera) 1 tsp
- Yogurt 4 tbsp
- Salt ½ tsp
Ingredients For Meethi Chutney:
- Dried apricots(khubani) 125 gm soaked(bheegi hui) in 1 cup water deseeded
- Jaggery(gur) 2 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Red color a pinch
- Chaat masala 1 tsp
- Salt ½ tsp
Ingredients For KhattiMeethi Chutney:
- Tamarind(imli) 125 gm soaked in 1 cup water
- Salt ½ tsp
- Chili powder 1 ½ tsp
- Roasted and crushed cumin(zeera) ½ tsp
- Prepared meethi chutney 4 tbsp
METHOD FOR MEETHI CHUTNEY:
Soak dried apricots in the water for 2 hours, put in the saucepan with some water, and cook for 10 mins, add jaggery(gur) and sugar, cook till it thickens and bubbles come, remove, cool, and blend. Put in a bowl, add a pinch of red color, chaat masala, and salt.
