What is a Frittata?
An Italian meal called a frittata is comparable to an omelet or quiche. In Italian, “frittata” means “fried.” A mixture of meats, cheeses, and veggies is blended into an egg foundation. There are countless add-ons and modifications. So tasty and so simple!
Ingredients
- Eight eggs
- Four ounces of ground sausage
- Six-ounce sliced mushrooms
- Two cups of spinach
- One cup of sliced cherry tomatoes
- Three tablespoons of sliced green onions
- Half a cup of heavy cream
- One cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- Add pepper and salt.
Directions
- Set the oven’s temperature to 375. The ground sausage should be added to a medium-sized skillet. Fry and crumble until well cooked. Take out and place on a plate.
- After adding the mushrooms and sautéing them for a minute or two, add the spinach and let it wilt. After adding the green onions and cherry tomatoes, return the sausage to the stew.
- Mix the eggs, heavy cream, cheese, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Drizzle over the vegetables and pork. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the egg mixture sets and the top is golden brown.
