You’ve probably tried store-bought spinach artichoke dip, the kind that packs with mayo, at at least one party. This recipe is 100 times better because it serves warm and melty!

My favorite savory dip is spinach artichoke dip. It’s full of taste, and I love the way the vegetables complement one other. Plus, who can resist all that cheese?

This is the best dip for a party! I have yet to encounter someone who dislikes it.

What Ingredients For Artichoke and Spinach Dip?

  • Cream cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Mayonnaise
  • Garlic
  • Parmesan
  • Mozzarella
  • Pepper
  • Canned artichokes
  • Frozen spinach

What Should I Serve with This?

  • To create the crostini, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch slices, spray the rounds with olive oil, and bake on a baking sheet in a 400 degree oven just until the bread starts to develop a wonderful golden brown.

Can I Use Fresh Spinach in This Recipe?

Fresh spinach can easily be substituted for frozen spinach in this recipe. If you do this, steam it first, then blanch it in ice water, press out the extra liquid, and chop.

Ingredients for Artichoke and Spinach Dip

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp dried basil(tulsi or niazboo)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
  • ¼ tsp garlic salt
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (14 ounce) can artichoke hearts(a perennial vegetable whose immature edible flower head is forme of a fleshy heart), drained and chopped
  • ½ cup frozen chopped spinach(palk), thawed and drained
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a small baking dish.

  • In a medium bowl, mix together cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, Romano cheese, garlic, basil(tulsi), garlic salt, salt and pepper. Gently stir in artichoke hearts and spinach(palk).
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 25 minutes, until bubbly and lightly browned.
