Consider the following as a way to express gratitude to healthcare workers and other important people in our lives:

  • Tell your supplier how much you appreciate them the next time you see them, either over the phone or in person. “Thank you so much,” is all that is required. “You make a difference in my life,” is a powerful statement.
When you visit them next, bring them fresh-cut flowers from your garden. There’s no need to spend money on flowers or put them in a nice vase.
  • Send a handwritten thank-you note with heartfelt sentiments. Give particular examples of how they were of assistance to you.
Leave a favorable review on Google or another online review service. By leaving a positive review, you are not only sending them nice feedback. But you are also making it easier for others to find and use their services.
To show your appreciation, write a brief piece for your local newspaper. This communicates your gratitude in a way that allows them to be recognized throughout the community.
  • To show your gratitude, send a painting or other work of art done by you or a particular youngster in your life to your giver. Brightly colored art, whether produced by you or a family member’s youngster, is sure to make people smile.

  • Make a charitable donation in honor of your healthcare providers and inform them of your decision. This has several benefits, including delivering appreciation and recognition as well as assisting in the support of a great cause.
  • Recommend your healthcare practitioner to other patients who could benefit from his or her services.

The key employees in your life will appreciate your support regardless of how you express your gratitude, even if it’s simply with a grin, a wave, or a thumbs-up sign.

Caught COVID? Here’s what you should and shouldn’t do when self-isolation isn’t mandatory

COVID has worn us all out. However, despite the fact that the headlines has moved on to other global crises, COVID is still very much with us. Vaccines have helped to reduce the disease’s worst consequences, but it is here to stay, and we must learn to live with it.

So, if you get COVID, what should you do now? According to anecdotal evidence, many people appear to be disregarding the illness and carrying on as usual. This is perhaps unsurprising, considering that self-isolation restrictions have been phased out in England, with Wales due to follow suit soon. The message appears to be that COVID isn’t as vital as it formerly was. Even if the regulations are loosening, living with COVID does not imply ignoring it.
