These incredibly simple peanut Butter Cookies are fantastic. They have a deliciously soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture and are bursting with peanut butter flavor. They also have the ideal ratio of salty and sweet flavors. There’s a reason why this cookie is a classic.

Cookies with peanut butter in them have an incredibly soft texture and a very fine, velvety crumb. These traditional peanut butter cookies are sure to please everyone.

They’re incredibly simple to create and may be made days in advance at any time for instant enjoyment. The hardest part is having the patience to wait until they have a chance to set up after being taken out of the oven.

WHAT’S THE BEST PEANUT BUTTER TO USE FOR THESE COOKIES?

  • I use smooth, salty peanut butter for the greatest results.
  • Although it’s not necessary, sweetened peanut butter will work just fine if that’s what you have on hand. You may want to reduce the sugar by 2 tablespoons, though.
  • After opening the container, stir the peanut butter thoroughly if you’re using a natural variety without stabilizers. That jar’s oily top will result in extremely runny cookies.

  • 1 egg large, room temp
  • 3/4 tsp baking powder 3g

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Heat the oven to 350°F.

  • After adding, integrate peanut butter completely.
  • Add the egg and vanilla extract, whisk, and then add the flour mixture.
  • Put the dough on a baking sheet that has been parchment paper-lined and form one-inch balls.
  • With a fork, crisscross cookies to flatten them.
  • For around ten minutes, bake the cookies.
  • Cookies need time to set up before being moved, so let them cool completely on the baking sheet.

Notes

  • The cookies will be baked till nearly done. When you take them out of the oven, they’ll settle in and keep baking thanks to the interior heat.

  • They will be extremely soft right out of the oven, so give them some time to cool; after they are firm enough to handle, they will taste quite good.
  • Add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of salt to the batter if your peanut butter isn’t particularly salty.
