Ingredients To Marinate:

  • Shrimps(jheenga) 300 gm washed
  • Turmeric(hldi) ¼ tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup

Ingredients For Rice:

  • Sweet corn(meethi mkai) ½ cup
  • Red bell (shimla red)pepper ½ cup julienne(barik cut)
  • Capsicum (green shimla)½ cup julienne
  • Yellow bell pepper(shimla yellow) ½ cup julienne
  • Chopped jalapeno(hot chili) 3 tbsp
  • Chopped coriander (dhnia)2 tbsp
  • Garlic chopped 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2 chopped (seeds removed)
  • Onion 1 cup chopped
  • Butter 2 ounce
  • Chili powder 1tsp
  • Black pepper ½ tsp
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Paprika(kali merch) ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Garlic powder 1 tsp
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Parsley(ajwain )1 tsp

  • Roasted & crushed cumin (zeera)1tsp
  • Chicken powder 1 tsp
  • Water ¼ cup
  • Boiled rice with salt 3 cups

Ingredients To Serve:

  • Sour cream 1 cup
  • Chopped spring onion ½ cup
  • Cheddar cheese grated ¼ cup

Method:
Marinate shrimps and pan fry in butter for just 2 mins, do not overcook. In the same pan add butter with ¼ cup oil, fry chopped onion and garlic till soft, add sweet corn, jalapeno, bell peppers, coriander, and tomatoes, fry for 2 mins, add in all the spices, chicken powder, and water, add rice, cook for 5 mins, leave it covered on low flame, make sure cream by mixing ½ cup cream and 3 tbsp lemon juice.

For Serving:
Place rice in a serving platter, sprinkle some grated cheese, cheddar cheese, drizzle sour cream and sprinkle some chopped spring onion on top, serve hot.
