Italian Chicken Soup Recipe



  • pasta 1 cup
  • Olive Oil 1 tbsp
  • Chicken breasts 2
  • Chicken stock(yakhni) 4 cups
  • Onion, Diced 1
  • Green capsicum(shimla), 1
  • Celery (ajwain) 2
  • Jalapenos, sliced 2
  • Olive Oil 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Olive Oil 1/3 cup
  • Oregano 1 tsp
  • Salt and Pepper as required
  • Parmesan Cheese, For Serving

Boil pasta. Drain and rinse in cold water to cool. Toss in 1 tablespoon olive oil and set aside. Cook chicken in chicken stock. Once done shred it.


Heat olive oil and add oregano. Add onion, capsicum, celery, and jalapenos. Sauté and add chicken stock, shredded chicken, and tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then simmer. Add cooked pasta, cream, mix. Serve with Parmesan(pneer type) sprinkled on the top and some crusty bread.
