Potato Puri Recipe



  • Potatoes (peeled and cubed) 6
  • Salt 1 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric (hldi)powder 1 tsp
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Black mustard seeds 2 tsp
  • Curry powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Parsley leaves 1 tbsp

Boil the potatoes with 1 teaspoon salt, turmeric, and enough water to cover. Strain the potatoes once done. Add the oil, mustard seeds, curry powder, allspice powder, and remaining salt to the bowl and toss with potatoes. transfer the potatoes to a foil-lined baking sheet and roast in the preheated oven at 180 degrees c for 30 to 40 minutes, flipping the potatoes once halfway through. Serve hot garnished with parsley, on top of large puris.
