Ingredients For Mince:

  • Beef Mince ½ kg
  • Whole masoor(sabt msr or kali dal) 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1 tbsp
  • Chili powder 3 tsp
  • Turmeric(hldi) 1 tsp
  • Coriander(dhnia) powder 2 tsp
  • Roasted crushed cumin(zeera) 1 ½ tsp
  • Allspice 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 ½ tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 ½ cup
  • Sindhi biryani masala 3 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 3
  • Brown onion ¾ cup
  • Coriander leaves(hra dhnia) 4 tbsp
  • Mint(podina) leaves 3 tbsp
  • Oil ¾ cup
  • Potatoes fried 2

Method:

In a bowl mix together mince with a cup of the whole masoor, marinate with ginger garlic paste, all the spices, yogurt, lemon juice, finely chopped tomatoes, brown onion, mix everything well, leave it for 30 mins. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add whole spices, and the marinated mixture, fry for 5 mins, add ½ cup water, cook on high for 5 mins, then lower flame for 10 mins, add fried potatoes, coriander(dhnia), and mint(podina), cook till almost dry, serve with boiled rice.
