The ’32nd Seoul Music Awards’ under fire for only opening ‘fan club seats’ for SM Entertainment artists

Hours before the live presentation on January 19 at 7 PM KST. The “32nd Seoul Music Awards” are receiving scathing criticism.

The “32nd Seoul Music Awards,” will be presented at the KSPO Dome in Seoul later today evening. Will be hosted by MCs Kim Il Joong, SHINee’s Minho, and Lee Mi Joo. The “32nd Seoul Music Awards” has opted to wait until the live event to release its performing and attending artist lineups, in contrast to other award ceremonies that do so to draw audiences.


Online users claim that the event has previously been highlighted. Audience tickets will be handed out at random to attendees, with no dedicated fan seats.

However, on January 18, the fan communities for SHINee’s Minho, GOT The Beat. And NCT Dream informed their followers that fan areas for these musicians will be open for booking. These announcements stated that a total of 50 seats would be set aside for SHINee’s Minho fans and that GOT The Beat and NCT Dream would each have 225 seats.
