At our barbeques, this delicious dip is often the first to disappear. It’s straightforward guacamole that’s great for dipping tortilla chips in or serving alongside tacos. Leave an avocado seed in it until serving to keep it from browning.
Ingredients for Guacamole
- 2 avocados(magher nashpati) peeled, pitted and diced
- 2 tsp salt, or to taste
- 1 large tomato, diced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 jalapeno peppers,(hot green or red pepper) chopped
- ½ tbsp chopped fresh cilantro(dhnia or herb)
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- In a medium bowl, mash the avocados and stir in salt to taste. Mix in the tomato, onion, jalapeno(hot green or red chili), cilantro (dhnia or herb) and lemon juice. Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes before serving.
