Murgh Cholay Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • Chicken ½ kg
  • Chick Peas(chana white) (boiled) 2 cup
  • Tomatoes 250 gms
  • Onion 1
  • Red Chili Powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric(hldi) Powder ½ tsp
  • Coriander(dhnia) Powder 1 tsp
  • Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Whole Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Ginger for garnish
  • Green Chilies for garnish
  • Coriander(dhnia) Leaves for garnish

METHODS

  1. In a pan, heat oil fry the onion till golden brown and take it out in a bowl.
  • In a blender, add onion and tomatoes blended well.
  • Add chicken in preheated oil and cook until the color change add onion and tomatoes.
  • After this, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala powder, Whole garam masala, ginger garlic paste, salt and cover it.
  • When chicken are tenders, add boiled chick peas(chane).
  • In the end, sprinkle finely chopped ginger,green chilies and coriander(dhnia) leaves.
  • Let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Murgh Cholay is ready.
