INGREDIENTS:

  • Chicken pieces 1 kg
  • Ginger garlic paste(adrk lehson) 3 tbsp
  • Red chili powder(lal mrch) 1 tbsp
  • Grated jaggary(gurr) 3 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste(imli guda) 2 tbsp
  • Red food color as required
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Green chili paste 1 1/2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 3 tbsp
  • Egg 1
  • Tandoori masala powder 2 tbsp
  • coal(coyala) 1-2
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Mint chutney(podina) for serving
  • Khatti meethi tamarind(imli ) chutney for serving

METHOD:
Take chicken pieces, marinate with ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, grated jaggery(Gurr), tamarind paste(imli), red food color, lemon juice, green chili paste, cornflour, egg, and tandoori masala powder. Mix well and give charcoal smoke twice. Keep it for about 2 hours. Heat oil and deep fry the chicken. Serve with mint chutney and khatti meethi imli ki chutney. This is served with small baby naan.
