Ingredients For Spice:

  • Chicken 600 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • White cumin(zeera) powder 1 tsp
  • Salt, chili, turmeric(haldi) as required
  • Mix whole spice 1 tbsp
  • Black salt ¾ tsp
  • Clarified butter ¾ cup

Ingredients For Rice :

  • Rice ½ kg
  • Salt 2 tbsp
  • Yellow food color ¼ tsp
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Oil 4 tbsp

Ingredients For Layer:

  • Mint(podina), coriander(dhania) as required
  • Green chilies, lemon sliced as required
  • Tomatoes, ginger (adrk)chopped as required

Method:
Heat clarified butter fry onion. Also, add whole spice cook well. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt, chilies, turmeric, white pepper, and tomatoes cook. Add yogurt mix well. Add water cook till chicken is done. Add black salt, green coriander, mint(pudina), and green chilies mixed well. Boiled rice with salt. Layer rice in a pan. pour the chicken mixture. Add dissolved yellow food color in yogurt. Add coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, tomatoes, and lemon sliced mix well. Layer remaining rice, pour oil and simmer.
