Achaari Palak Moong Daal Recipe




  • Boiled Green Gram(mung ki dal) 1-1/2 cup
  • Spinach(palak) 2 cups
  • Red Chili Powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric(haldi) ½ tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Mango Powder(aamchoor) 1 tsp
  • Asafoetida(heeng) 2 pinch
  • Achaar Masala 2 tbsp
  • Tomatoes ½ cup
  • Crushed Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
  • Clarified Butter ½ cup

Wash Green Gram and Soak(bhgona) in Water. Heat Clarified Butter Fry Onion And Ginger Garlic Then Add Cut Tomatoes And Sauté Well Now Add Spinach And Mix. Then Add Green Gram With 1 Cup Water And Let It, Cook. When Spinach Got Mixed Then Add Achaar Masala, Lemon Juice, Red Chili Powder, Turmeric, Salt And Mango Powder And Cook For Another 10 Minutes Till It Gets Thick And Take Out In Dish. Now Heat Clarified Butter Add Asafoetida(heeng) And Give Sizzling Effect Then Garnish With Green Coriander.
