Arhar Dal Fry Recipe
Ingredients:
- Split Pigeon peas(Arher ki dal) 1 cup
- Red chili 1 tbsp
- Turmeric(hldi) 1 tsp
- Chopped green chilies 6
- Lemons 2
- Garlic (peel and crushed) 4 cloves
- Coriander (dhnia)seeds 1 tsp
- White cumin(zeera) 1 tsp
- Salt 1tsp
- Oil ½ cup
- Mint(podina) leaves 2 tbsp
Method:
Wash and soak(bgo de) Lentil(dal). Add in 1 tsp coriander(dhnia), cumin(zeera) and crush them. Add hot water to the lentil and also add turmeric and cook it. in the pan, add in 1/2 cup oil, golden fry chopped garlic. add in red chili flakes, turmeric, chopped green chilies, coriander seeds, and 1 tsp cumin. Cook it and add the lentil. Then add in milk, simmer it and add lemon juice. Serve hot.
