Much of the town harkens back to the Victorian era when the railroad aided the city’s expansion. The village is surround unique B&Bs, cottages, boutique hotels, and resorts, making a visit here a treat. There’s shopping in the downtown area, waterfront eateries, and Irish coffee and Russian tea establishments where you can enjoy a hot or cold beverage. Cape Charles contains a museum dedicated to the town’s history, as well as an Art Deco Theatre and a mile-long municipal beach for swimming and sunbathing. 2.Kiptopeke State Park, Cape Charles, VA

Between 1949 and 1964, Kiptopeke State Park served as the northern endpoint for the Little Creek-Cape Charles Ferry service.
