INGREDIENTS

  • white chany 250gms
  • Soda 1 tsp
  • Salt ½ tsp
  • Cumin seeds(zeera) roasted ½ tsp
  • Crushed red chili ¾ tsp
  • All spice ½ tsp
  • Onion 2 tbsp
  • Coriander(khusk dhania) crushed 1 tsp
  • Oil ¼ cup

METHODS

  1. Soak(bgona) chany overnight with soda next morning boil in the same water
  2. Heat ¼ cup oil fry 1 onion chopped add all the spices Salt ½ tsp

  4. Cumin seeds roasted ½ tsp, Crushed red chili ¾ tsp, All spice ½ tsp
  5. Add Coriander crushed 1 tsp fry well add boiled chany with left over stock

  7. Cover and cook till done.
  8. Cook till tender, slightly mash
  9. Lastly add chopped coriander leaves(hra dhania) and green chilies. Serve with puri or pratha.
