Ingredients For Koftay:

  • Beef Mince(qeema) 250 gm
  • Onion 1 medium
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Fresh coriander(hra dhnia) (chopped) 3 tbsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg(jaifel) and mace(jaiwtri) powder ½ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 3 tbsp

Other Ingredients:

  • Mutton(bkre ka ghos (boiled) 250 gm
  • White turnip(shaljim) 200 gm
  • Carrots 200gm
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Clarified butter 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Fried onions 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Green chilies 4
  • Fresh coriander (chopped) few
  • Turmeric(haldi) powder 1 tsp
  • White cumin(zeera) powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • All spice powder 2 tsp
  • Coriander(dhnia) powder 2 tbsp

  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Whole all spice 1tbsp

Method:
Wash and peel, turnip and carrots and fry them and set aside. Mix all the kofta ingredients make kofta and fry all them and set them aside. In the same pan add clarified butter, whole allspice, mutton, onion, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, and tomatoes and cook until clarified butter separated add in yogurt, carrots, turnips. Cook it on a low flame. When the Masala separates, add in green Masala, all spice powder, and lemon juice koftas water for gravy and Cook it for 5 minutes and simmer it and serve hot.
