Do you need to wash the car first before you apply shine armor?
Although it claims to be clean, it’s essential to wash the vehicle by hand before applying Shine Armor… that way you’ll have a clean surface and the Shine Armor won’t trap dirt.
Will this product help remove water spots?
It does not, in fact. I did this and left my car in my driveway, safe in the knowledge that it would be shielded from the sprinklers. My car now has watermarks that I have to buff out because this device provided no protection and did not remove them.
Does this work well on a black car? Does it streak?
It looked fantastic on my black car. Swirling was a problem for me as well. However, only time will tell how long it will last before I need to reapply.
Is it ok for a boat?
You are free to use it on whatever you like. It’s still simply perfumed grape water.
Is it beneficial to use a different wax-like carnauba as well? If yes, wax first then shine or shine then wax?
I believe you are doing the same work twice. Use this product if the car is brand new. It’s excellent value for money. If the vehicle has been on the road for a while, apply a high-quality wax, such as Mothers. Alternatively, a wax containing a ceramic chemical. In principle, a good wax won’t let a substance like this stick, but you should get similar results.
