Ingredients For Taiwanese Dan-Bing:
- Cooking oil 1 tbs
- Garlic) chopped 1 tsp
- Chicken Mince 250g
- Red chili crushed ½ tsp
- Cumin seeds roasted & crushed ½ tsp
- Salt ½ tsp or to taste
- Black pepper powder ½ tsp
- All-purpose flour 2 & ½ Cups
- Corn flour ¾ Cup
- Salt 1 & ½ tsp or to taste
- Water 4 Cups or as required
- Egg 1 (for each crepe)
- Salt 1 pinch or to taste
- Black pepper crushed 1 pinch or to taste
- Spring onion chopped
- Cooking oil 1 tbs
- Tomato ketchup
Directions:
- Add garlic and cooking oil to a frying pan, stir well, and cook until lightly browned.
- Add the chicken mince and stir thoroughly until the color changes.
- Add the crushed red chilies, cumin seeds, salt, and black pepper powder. Mix well and simmer on medium heat for 4-5 minutes.
- All-purpose flour, cornflour, and salt should be combined in a bowl.
- Add water gradually and whisk to mix.
- Sprinkle cooking oil on a griddle, pour 1 cup of the prepared batter, spread evenly, and cook over low heat until the top is set and the sides are easily removable from the griddle.
- Add the egg and spread it out equally on the crepe. Sprinkle the salt and crushed black pepper over the egg (makes 5).
- Add cooking oil and fry until golden and crispy on all sides.
- Slice, top with tomato ketchup, and serve!
