Winter is here and it is time to improve immunity to sustain the harshness of cold weather. And here’s an interesting and hassle free soup recipe, which can be made without any hassle of blending, just simmer the soup and indulge in the goodness of rich comforting soup.
- 150 grams chicken
- 1/2 tsp peppercorns
- 1 inch cinnamon stick
- 1 inch ginger
- 1/½ cup boiled corns
- ltbsp soy sauce
- 150 grams spinach leaves
- 1 large carrot
- 1 cup broccoli
- 1 cup raw papaya, water and salt as needed
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion
- 5-6 garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp paprika
- ¹¼ cup coriander leaves
To begin with this easy recipe, wash and chop the veggies.
Meanwhile, wash the chicken pieces and cut them in strips or bite sized pieces.
Take a pan and add in water and salt followed by the raw papaya and par boil it for sometime. Then run through cold water to retain the texture.
Meanwhile, take a pressure cooker and add in water followed by adding the peppercorns, cinnamon stick, chicken and two garlic cloves and ginger. Now pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Take another pan and add in oil followed by onion, remaining garlic cloves followed by other veggies and leafy greens, saute them well.
Lastly, add in water and season with salt and spices and cover the lid and let it cook till the soup attains a clear and slightly thick consistency. Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoy!
