Dahi Chicken Handi Recipe



  • Chicken 600 grams
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Cumin(zeera) powder 1 tsp
  • All spice powder ¾ tsp
  • Salt, red chili powder to taste
  • Turmeric(haldi) as required

For Masala Ingredients:

  • Clarified butter ¾ cup
  • Chopped onion 1 large
  • Chopped green chili 2-3
  • Chopped ginger 1 tbsp
  • White cumin(zeera) 1 tsp
  • Finely cut ginger, green coriander(dhnia) for garnishing

All chicken marination ingredients mix and leave for 2 to 3 hours .for masala making in clay pot clarified butter heat and fry chopped onion, chopped green chili, chopped ginger, and white cumin add and roast .then add marinated chicken mix and roast .after this add half cup of water and cook till than chicken tender .finally roast and dish out .then garnish with ginger and green coriander and serve.
