Fried Spinach Salad is a healthy appetizer that includes fried spinach, red onion, cauliflower, broccoli, and chili-lime vinaigrette.

This dish transforms the classic creamed spinach dish from the steakhouse by embracing a nutritious recipe with a spicy, citrusy flavor. While maintaining beneficial vitamins and minerals, frying the spinach gives the leaf an added crunch.

Ingredients Fried Spinach Salad

  • 8oz (7.5 trimmed) peeled garlic
  • 14 oz granulated sugar
  • 4 fl oz sambal
  • 64 fl oz lime juice
  • 16 fl oz distilled white vinegar
  • 32 fl oz Thai sweet chili sauce

SECOND INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 ½ oz (3 oz trimmed) peeled garlic
  • 64 fl oz Water
  • 28 oz granulated sugar
  • 35 g Kosher Salt
  • 4 fl oz sambal
  • 8 fl oz distilled white vinegar
  • 4 fl oz fish sauce

How to Make Fried Spinach Salad

For the First Set of Ingredients:

  • Trim garlic, then finely mince.
  • Put everything from the top portion into a 12 qt Cambro and store it in the refrigerator.

For Second Portion:

  • Measure out each ingredient individually and blend in a pot.
  • 25 minutes of cooking, or until the contents have been reduced by 1/3, after bringing to a boil.
  • Remove the pot from the heat and chill it in an ice bath.

  • Blend the first batch of ingredients in a blender on high until they are pureed. Add the second batch of ingredients and pulse just until they are combined.
  • Put it in a container and put it in the fridge.
